    hi guys i know nothing on this topic but i bought a bluray from the internet and its region a
    would there be a way to get it to play on my sons bluray ps3 ?

    It's kind of on topic since in order to achieve what you're looking for on a PS3 you will have to modify the console. There are USB dongles out there like the Cobra-USB that can enable bluray movie playback from any region. Like most dongles you have to be on an original Sony stock firmware lower than 3.55 in order for it to work. If you're above 3.55 there may still be hope with firmware downgrader, but I've explained here that this option is difficult. If you follow that thread you'll see there are people offering that downgrade service elsewhere on the internet.

    Personally I'd forget about it and try to get a correct region/region free movie and offload the region locked one, or invest in a region free standalone bluray player.
