    Your best bet is to follow Ingrid Miley on Twitter, she's the RTE Industry & Employment correspondent and is on top of all of those stories, sometimes staying up all night while negotiations are going on. Any sniff of a strike and Ingrid is on the job.

    Their will be no strikes that weekend, that was just the usual incorrect spin from the Independent.

    great...thanks for both of your replies. AFAIK it was all over the news around the time that I booked my flights at the start of June but it's the only time I can fly so...

    Anyway, fingers crossed.
