Possible ear infection: temporary home remedy?

I think my dog Jess has an ear infection - she's shaking her head a lot and scratching one of her ears. It seems to be quite tender and she flinches if I go near it. It looks clean though, no discharge or sign of ear mites.

I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow evening. In the meantime, is there anything I can treat the ear with to make her more comfortable?
