Free Fonts for All Platforms

    Folks, I'll need to do a bit of work for a new start-up company soon and i need to pick a font that can be used on all platforms, browsers, applications, etc. and i also was to try and use fonts that are ok to use commercially, i dont want to land them in deep water over a font a few years down the road.

    There doesn't seem to be any one website that makes it clear as to what can be used or not.
