    Where can I get accurate road works info on the net? Was detoured today and took me extra 35 minutes today to get to work and need to know about tomorrows closures exit 14-16 north bound

    The AA Roadwatch would tend to have such information. Otherwise the local council website.

    pet gripe of mine too that during the day when a lot of folks are making their cross country journeys there NO announcements on the radio of serious delays and diversions about the country on major routes.

    If (as a mad example) the orange men came down the south in the late morning and closed every road in the country with protests over one thing or another, you'd only hear about it come 4pm when AA roadwatch starts up again!!
    Idiotic.
