Removal of headlight lens

    Hi lads

Recently bought a bmw 320. I'm planning on doing a projector retrofit which involves the removal of the headlight lenses. This needs to be done by either heating in an oven to melt the glue or by using a dremmel and cutting the lens off which is the method I don't want to do. Now my problem is my oven at home is too small for the headlights so I'm wondering if anyone knows of someone that would be able to remove headlight lens for me or someone that may have done this before and would be able to help me with it.

    Thanks

Can also be done with a heat gun and allot of patience.

I don't know many people with a big enough oven.

Well from what I've been told the pre-lci have been so tightly sealed that they have to be oven cooked for 30 minutes to loosen the glue. Sounds like alot of effort but Id still like to do it.

If you have an open fire, light it up and place the lamps infront of it. That's how I split my lenses for a similar task
