saw him as well on my way up between hell fire and the viewpoint. Either a mountain bike or a hybrid.
Fair play to him. I would have stayed in bed.

Hope his working arm controls the rear brake.

I saw him. Where did I see him? Well I has about 2/3rd's of the way down from the Kippure Mast and he was coming against me.

I thought I was seeing things. I could do nothing but laugh.

That just reminds me that I used to regularly see a one armed cyclist around Dublin. Haven't seen him for a long time though.

holidaying in the sierra nevada in the south of spain a couple of years ago, we saw a chap on a bike set off on the road from orgiva up towards las alpujarras. that road climbs 900m in 18km, but what caught our eye was that the cyclist only had one leg.

Used to see him every day around Milltown. Think he had a sign on the back of the bike saying "No hand signals".

A friend of mine has an aunt that works in the City Council offices in town and he says that the aunt is almost sure he works in a department near her! I've seen him.. looks very impressive!
