Fri 19 July: was 30 reached?

After the news, the weather forecast said 30 was reached in 4 counties during Fri 19-July 2013. Yet, on www.met.ie, under Yesterday's Weather, the max is 29.5 in two sites. http://www.met.ie/latest/yesterday.asp Can anybody explain this?

29.5c gets rounded... so while 30c wasnt technically reached it was pretty damn close. 30.0c was reached at the climate station in south Laois following on from the 30.1c recorded there on July 12.
