Decent Quality Cat6 Cable

    Afternoon all.....

Hoping to do a house refurb soon and I want to run some Cat6 around it. I did the same in my last house where I ripped up the upstairs floors and ran the cable around. That time I just bought the cheapest Cat6 cable possible.

This time I have a far better idea of what I'm doing and don't plan to ever move house again.

So my plan of action is this.
    • Get good quality Cat6 and run it properly (adhering to specs)
    • Run two cables to every electrical plug point but only terminate one cable for now
    • Run all cables back to a patch panel and switch under the stairs

Where ever the TV will be located I'll need to put an 8 port switch anyway as I have the following hooked up: TV, Blueray, Sky box, XBMC PC.

I'd prefer not to run 3 Cat6's to each point although I might have to reconsider as I'm currently using HDMI->Ethernet for my projector (mainly to get around corners but I do have a few very good quality long HDMI cables).

So first up, I need some decent quality Cat6 cable. I believe I need these specs:
    • Unshielded
    • Solid core
    • CMP rated (not really sure what this is but was recommended for wiring houses)
    • A **** load of it

    Does this look good: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400532129318?

Looks like the same stuff from eBay Germany (a bit cheaper): http://www.ebay.de/itm/Konig-CMP-UTP6R305S-KONIG-UTP-CAT6-NETZWERK-KABEL-AUF-D-/400471789917?pt=DE_Computing_Ethernetkabel_RJ_45_8P8C_&hash=item5d3dfa915d

    Appreciate any input.
