    Quick question.

If you have the latest theory disk and are passing the mock tests most of the time is that a good indicator that you are ready?

Apparently theres a set amount of questions in the question bank but he has only been asked about a third of them. Usually he's getting most of the same questions over and over with only 3 or 4 new ones per test. Doesnt want to take the test and then get asked a whole bunch of questions from the other two-thirds that he hasnt seen before.

He's took 12 tests so far and passed 9 of them.

Just said Id ask on here for him and get some opinions.

If you go into the disc and at the option for take a theory test there is an option to Practice Theory Test this option has each section divided, eg, Necessary Documents.
Most people find that they will see some questions which they might not yet have been asked. The full book of questions is also contained on the disc, back at Main Menu stage.
By the sound of things he's doing very well on it.
On test day get him to use all the 40 mins also remember to take photos and VALID identification
    Hope this helps
