I don't usually ever get roped into weddings..hard to say no to a good friend though...

Great fun using a Canon 1D mkiv with 5 mins practice on it too. Brilliant piece of kit. Put my D3 in the shade by far. Still so many more to get through and edit.

I loved the fact they both drove themselves to their wedding in their own cars :)

Not OT at all. He gets stopped in the street (or used to) when The Darkness were popular asking if he was Justin Hawkins!

the 2nd one is class , definitly a touch of your man from the Darkness -

ps I always thought you were a film man, not that it matters , as they look great.

Just wondering where is the expected great vast expanse of a desert with two lonely souls getting hitched just outside of the negative space ;)

But really - Something very funky about that wedding / the photos Pete. I think they have the making of a great alternate set whilst tipping the hat to wedding tradition. An alternative traditional photo set perhaps. Hope that kinda makes sense. I like em. I hope you enjoyed it.

@ACD, I seriously have so many more to get through. I think I'm up to image 110 at this stage and thats just the guys getting ready and the church/ceremony. Noosixty was a 2nd shooter, shooting the bride getting ready and backing me up in the Church....I've still got the D3 and D90 shots to get through, then more from the reception/speeches and about 900 drunken fisheye & flash party shots....

@Dakar....he's currently in NZ for the BMX racing world championships at the minute...he had to have that reg plate!

@The Baz. I love film but digital is the beast for weddings these days.

I still have to shoot them all dressed up again (on film of course) when I have the chance to finish the whole thing off! Phew!!
