There seems to be a leak for a while now from the above car.Its not heavy and it only needs to be topped up not too often. Its hard to see where exactly its coming from because the leak will evaporate off with the heat, and the inlet manifold and other stuff are there but, the odd time I have seen coolant on the sump and up the side of the engine is a little wet too.

I suspect its somewhere where the bottom hose of the rad is connected to the engine, above the oil filter and adjacent to the aircon compressor, there is a smaller hose there too coming from the heater. Are they any specific part thats likely or anyone else have this?

    1.25 engine?

The most common plaec for those to leak is from the thermostat housing which is on the front of the engine behind/under the alternator.

Sorry, no its a 1.4. I thought the thermostat was at the transmission end of the engine?.At times there are no traces, and then the odd time you will see it clearly on the underside of the sump.

might be a pipe out of the thermostat itself,,shows up when you give her welly and the pipe is under pressure

A pic of the leak, not much of one I am sure you will agree.

Looks to be in the right area for the thermostat housing.
