The Locke bar, firefly bistro/steakhouse beside it and azur beside that. Can't go wrong down that direction on a night like tonight!

Locke is great in weather like this! Food is good in Bobby Byrne's too and the Curraghgower. Collins bar does good snacky bar food paninis, fish & chip etc.

the locke looks V seafoodish........not my thing, will have a look at the others - it's a monday night, so the first few suggestions are out as they are closed on Mondays.

btw, is Thorntons still open on Cruises St?

It's outside the city centre but Collins' bar in Dooradoyle does savage food.

By far the best has to be O Connells out in Newtown..
The steaks and fajitas are the best in Limerick.
12oz steak with all the trimmings for 15 yoyos

thanks all - staying in the Absolute, really don't want to go too far, ideally within walking distance IN HEELS!!!

The food in The Absolute is really nice.

The Locke, Firefly and Azur are only a few minutes walk from the Absolute

The Locke would probably be the nearest then if you want pub grub.
