    Hello Coaches and fighters,

    I hope you are enjoying the summer. The ICBA have had a great start to the year with the first 4 Sanshou opens a huge success and the quality of fighters are really improving from the grass root juniorS right the way to the Senior divisions.

    With 1 more Open on the 5th (Seniors) and the 6th (Juniors) of October there are still plenty of ranking points to earn your spot at this years National Championships where we will have dozens of Senior, Teens and junior titles to award and a place on our Elite Squad in 2014.

    FIRST EVER SANSHOU FIGHT NIGHT IN IRELAND

    On the 25th of August 2013 the ICBA are running a Sanshou fight night in the Bracken Court Hotel in Ballbriggan, Dublin.

    The aim of this event is two-fold, firstly we want to showcase the wonderful sport of Sanshou in a ring format to all the friends and family members of our fighters and the wider audience interested in exciting combat sports , and secondly to give all our fighters the opportunity to gain the experience of taking part in an event like this.

    The finals of the National Championships will be run as a fight night in the same manner as this upcoming event and will be a fantastic occasion for all! The experience gained will be invaluable and the adrenaline rush and buzz of such an event is second to none!

    We will have a preliminary card of juniors, teens and novices matches followed by the main card of Senior level fight. So send us all your fighters regardless of age or experience.
