    My advise would be suck it up. There's no sense in what you're planning to do.
    Put aside a small bit every month for the tax so it isn't a strain when renewal comes.

    You're talking about spending a few quid along with the sale price though.
    You're talking €385 for a 1.4 and €636 for a 1.8 diesel. So about €5 a week. You'll easily spend that extra in petrol :confused:

    Insurance will be cheaper. Its also that when it comes time for tax etc the bill will be smaller.
