Do they both have the same amount of bolts on the exhaust side? The Toledo would have 3 and the Octavia could have 3 or 4 depending on the year it came from. If they are both 3 bolts then it will fit, for some you have to change the little L shaped bracket bracing the turbo to the block as some have them at a different angle

on the exhaust side there is 3 on the toledo and on the octavia there was 4 its totally different looking, ive googled the part number of the turbo on the toledo, and what ive found is that that turbo is used on seat toledo 1.9 tdi-00-05 an volkswagen caddy 1.9 tdi 03-onward

That wont work, You'll have to get a 3bolt turbo, any from a golf bora Octavia leon Toledo or caddy from 01-05, the one you got must be from 98-00 but make sure to get the L bracket with the turbo

It's the wrong turbo, you will have to get the right one. The 4 bolt turbo is a wastegate type, the 3 bolt is a VNT type. Totally different setup.

    +1

Don't bother trying to get it to work, would need a lot of work. Just swap for a similar setup and away you go
