How to get videography work?

    Hey,

    Does anyone have any experience getting videography work? Can you give advice on how to go about it?

    I was told to just start emailing and ringing companies offering services, but who do you target? you're not going to send something to everyone in a 5 mile radius.

    First thing I would look for would be examples of previous work.

    So set yourself up a website with some good examples of what you can do. I'd go for quality over quantity. Don't stick up everything you've ever done - just the best stuff.

    After that I'd say it's a combination of advertising, direct-marketing and word-of-mouth.
