Ryanair Credit Card Laughable Security Questions

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Ryanair Cash Passport (Prepaid Credit Card) is useless now. It used to be possible to avoid some fees with it, but a recent legal case changed that. Now only using a debit card will avoid a slightly lower "credit card fee" as opposed to the per flight charge. Is there any reason for me to hold onto it?

Now on funny note, I logged into my Ryanair Cash Passport website to make sure I didn't leave a balance and was presented with this zany set of security questions. You know the ones that are asked in case you log in on different computer.
    • What is the BRAND of your primary desktop computer at home?
    • What is the BRAND of your primary laptop computer at home?
    • What is the BRAND of your primary laptop computer at work?
    • What is the MODEL of the car you owned five years ago?
    • What was the BUILDING NUMBER of your primary place of employment five years ago?
    • What is the BRAND of your primary desktop computer at work?
    • What is the MODEL of your primary cell phone?
    • What is the BRAND NAME of your primary grocery store?
    • What is the LAST name of your current manager at your primary place of employment?
    • What is the HOUSE NUMBER of the home you lived in ten years ago?

Now tell me, how many of you struggle to find the minimum 4 required to be answered? I move around a lot, do not own a car, do not use a "desktop" computer, and could hardly remember the street address of a job I had 5 years ago! I wonder who was responsible for this silly set of "security" questions.

they're just trying to get a bit of market research done while they're at it... Some day Ryanair will be trying to sell you a laptop or desktop PC. :P

Just to be clear, the questions are even more ridiculous because the place you enter as having lived in or worked at 5 or 10 years ago (or the car you owned 5 years ago) could be different a year or two from now. So you have to remember what you answered way back then and adjust???

Maybe I should have posted this to the Web Development board since it is less about travel and more about web security best practices, but since it was about Ryanair... :)

Yes, one of my pet hates — sites that don't allow you to write your own question, which to my mind is a whole lot more secure.

Maybe this even belongs to the banking forum. I've have to provide answers to stupid questions like "What is your favourite film" for a telephone banking account.

If you're a non-driving, long term unemployed, technophobe, you're fairly buggered.
