Do you see Jordan as an idol, do you live in a council estate living off the proceads of a moped accident claim, do you have aspirations of turning your front room into a tax dodge quasi hair salon .....

If so then here's the car for you. All its short of is a Russians Gucci poodle carrier, some diamonds on the sunvisors and a throne. This people is an all new level in delusional opulence created to comfort women in their 40's who have fertility problems.

I give you the RR Evoque Cabrio :D ..... nasty

And at last we have a challenger to the blinding sales success which is the PT Cruiser Cabrio.

Its not the looks that are offensive (although I find it hideous myself) , its the very fact that it exists that's offensive.

Just in time now I can at last replace this

Oh I dunno, it's offensive enough. It's possibly the best off-roader/Land Rover-type vehicle available to the art, rendered completely pointless by the "addition" of a drop-top. It's also a convertible rendered completely pointless by the fact that it is in fact a three-ton lorry. It will probably only appeal to the (now ageing) PVC-titted Footballer's Wive's Hairdresser's Masseuse set right enough.

Great stuff, now you can get into the backseat without having to wait for the electric seats to move over ever so slowly...

Hmmmmm.............I dunno, with a decent heavy Machine gun mount on the back there, it could gain some traction in third world/ African nations ruled by a blingy despot/ Liberia.

The original Freelander was available as a 3 door cabriolet although only the ack seats and boot were truly uncovered. Is it really that surprising that they would try an Evoque convertible?

My first reaction : "it looks like a roller skate".

So, this is basically a Nissan Murano convertible for people who are too snobby to drive a Nissan, but want a convertible SUV designed by Victoria Beckham...

At least you'll know what sort of person is behind the wheel...

Imagine having a regular evoque. You pull up at a social gathering of your peers. Everyone sees the car. All is fine, until someone says "didn't Posh Spice design that".

    Social death. Right there...

The evoque 5 door is not bad looking (spec & coliur dependent) for that sort of soft roader car.

But the whole Victoria Beckham thing got a lot of coverage, so you would get ribbed about it by even moderate petrol heads.

The Range Rover has officially been wreaked, now it's just for people who have no class.

Ah in fairness, apart from the first one back in the seventies and once any of them passed their 4th birthday, none of their owners had much class. More often than not they'd have a disproportionate amount of cash relative to their intelligence level but not class.

now though, they're spoilt for choice!

it's a shame, I quite like the FFRR, even the new one, and was contemplating getting an older mid-2000's one until a guy I worked with told me I wasn't enough of a c**t to drive a range rover. :D

I'm not convinced about that myself, but the fact that it's quite often the first thing people think of when they see someone driving one was enough to put me off.
