wouldnt recommend a powerhose.. can damage fairings, and blow all the grease out of yer chain/bearings

powerhose grand for tiding up the street after washin the manky bike though..!

I had this bike for 19 years and that's how I've washed it most of the time, just need to be careful and wash from a safe distance. I moved from Stillorgan to Blanchardstown and I can't find any petrol station with a power hose around here. I can't believe I'm gonna have to go to the Texaco in Blackrock road to wash it!

Why would they go mad about washing a bike?

That petrol station on the Clonsilla Road beside Lambourn used to have a power hose. It used to be called Discount Fuel, think its an AppleGreen now.

DaveD, that petrol station still has a couple of power hoses, 2 euro for a wash and wax. Thanks again.

Get it steam cleaned rather then power housed.

i am using power house every week on my babe... i have special soft degreeser that i apply on her before - around wheels, breaks etc.. and then from distance using the power house "gun" --> then dry it with skin and wax after is a must - wax will protect the colour and it will make it extremly easy to clean next time.. never ever had any issue with fairings or stickers - jsut keep the safe distance --> use brain no need to measure it :)))) ... and i am psycho if you ask me about cleaning. (my father has car/bike hand wash for over 15y now where i spend most of the time)
