To the cyclist I nearly collided with on Tuesday morning at the Deane Roundabout/Western Distributor Rd in Galway I unreservedly apologise. As a cyclist myself (driving a car) I know the near miss scared the living daylights out of both of us and I've no excuse, I just don't know how I didn't see you on the roundabout.

    Safe travels everybody

To the rider that was coming down the cycle lane across from the Yellow House, Rathfarnham at 09:20am this morning that I nearly took out - I am sorry.

In my defense, YOU were cycling down the cycle lane across from the Yellow House, Rathfarnham at 09:20am this morning when this is in fact a cycle lane in the opposite direction to which you were travelling. I was unsighted due to a ped with a suitcase standing in the cycling lane at the bus stop to whom I had to swerve around at the bus stop full of people and made the mistake of not anticipating a fellow cyclist traversing the cycle path in an unexpected manner.

So, please, pretty please accept my apology but maybe next time you may consider that it may be more appropriate to travel in the designated lane across the road, in the direction in which you are travelling.

Sounds like the salmon owes you one. Withdraw that.
