My two new h4 led bulbs came today. I'm just in from fitting them but there seems to be a problem, I had the bonnet open and took out one of the old bulbs and put the new one in, works perfect. As soon as I take out the old 2nd bulbs the new one turns off? I put the other new one in qhere the 2nd one was and they're not working when they're both in together, only when there's one of the old ones in with it (hope yous understand) would it have something to doin with different power outputs of the bulb and or something? Weird the way iy works when one of the old ones is in the other side and when the other new one is in I get nothing... any info would be appreciated cheers. P.S. I drive a 07 Grande punto

    So:
old/new combination work, just not new/new combination?
Is it the same if you reverse it from (right/left old/new) to (right/left new/old)?

Compare the fittings but H4 sounds right.
Btw, don't change the bulbs with ignition on, in case you were.

Yes exactly, old new works but new new doesn't. I tried the lights in both sides too opposite way around still the same :/

Both h4 3pin so it must be to doin with the lights themselves? Have tried both with ignition on and off same result

LED bulbs won't work in a CANBUS system like the Grande. There's no CANBUS correctors available for H4 fitment either, so you'd have to make them yourself with four appropriate resistors and two pairs of opposing H4 connectors.

I wouldn't bother, a H4 LED bulb would be as bright as a 5W sidelight anyway.

Yes there is, Philips make them. The fit onto the cables and not directly to the bulbs.

OP search the car maintenance forum, I have put a link to the Philips site there before.

Any links to these? I've only seen resistors available with W5W fittings. Unless you mean they're just resistors that you have to splice into your cable, which is what I said already.

LED H4's? Needs resistors for the canbus. This might help
