I picked up the new car on Tuesday and i'm well happy with it.
I'm still waiting for a couple of deliveries so i can get it really clean and apply the protection but until i get the them i'm going to leave it as it is,
Hopefully the deliveries will be here before the weekend -

Congratulations on the new motor Pedro!
    Diesel I presume?

As Curran alluded to above, it's a good colour that you'll be able to make an impact on!

The old stuff the i have used in the past, I had a silver Ford Kuga and tried to keep it as good as i could, Bucket and sponge...now i've been on here i realise i was doing it all wrong.

Got most of the things i ordered now, you might look and see if theres anything else i'm missing the be able to keep it looking good.
I ordered most of it from Autobright Direct and got a few freebies thrown in :D

I am going to use the Collinite 845 and wondered what i should use along with it.
Is that small Meguiars Clay bar at the front of the picture enough to do two cars ?, the Audi and a 05 Focus,
I have more microfiber clothes and drying towels, some better quality than others but they will do for using on the wife car.

    Well done my friend!! :)

Seriously improved arsenal there - there wont be a spec of dirt on it! :D
Good to see the sponges have gone, and that there is a snowfoam lance!

One thing I'd advice you to watch, is how long your beading lasts - I've used Magifoam in the past, and after 3/4 washes on freshly applied layers of Pete's53 wax, I notcied that it was stripping it away! Dont get me wrong - its a great foam....nice and thick, cleans well...but just watch it! Maybe it doesnt agree with Pete's53 and will be OK with other protection products - I just stopped using it straight away - and managed to get through it eventually, by using it on jobs when I wanted to strip protection!

    Thanks Curran,
What would be a good snow foam to use, the last thing i want todo is stripthe wax off.

    Andy.

I've tried a few...and these are my opinions...
Magifoam - strips protection (or at least Petes53)
Autobrite SuperFoam - meh; cleaning was OK
Valet Pro - all show - foams well, no cleaning
Meguiar's Hyperwash - OK, cleans OK, doubles up as a shampoo so its good in that sense
Orchard Autocare's Cotton Candy - my current favourite - best balance between, cleaning ability, foam thickness / dwell time, price, will strip a small amount but not crazy amounts.

Any foam that cleans reasonably well, will have cut in it, and strip a small amount of protection. I've gotten through surplus snowfoams, by mixing them for whatever job is at hand. For instance, I'd mix Valet Pro and Magifoam, to reduce the cut, but give crazy dwell time, so I can go off an get a few bits ready like two buckets, detailing brushes, etc, etc....but Ive found one Im happy with in Cotton Candy. No urge to try others which is a good sign when I've the urge to try every new product on the market! :D

Very nice car, nice armoury. It will look very well for you wrapped up and protected.

    Well wear my friend!
