*Note: I am not asking for medical advice, just curious has anyone experience something similar to this, i've had these feelings a few times during my mid 20's.

    Hi,

Tonight in the shower I think i'd a panic attack, I can explain it like this, I got all my things ready for a shower. Then I started to wash myself, but in my head it felt like I was thinking about 10 different things at once. It was like trying to calculate 10 sums but not knowing what sums they were, like the longing need to get something that wasnt there, then slowly trying to fear a bit as I didn't know how to relax and feel normal again.

As my mind was in a spin with thoughts, I could barely wash myself - , then I noticed my legs were shaking. I tired to focus my thoughts, on what I was doing, it helped a bit.

I feel better now, anyone every have an experience like this?

    ***NOT QUALIFIED MEDICAL ADVICE***

Sounds like an anxious moment all right, though there are a tonne of symptoms for panic attacks / anxiety that are pretty close to every day feelings.

The head confusion and legs shaking are a huge pointer. Still, it's not fatal, or even dangerous. Can just get uncomfortable.

Have you been under and extra stress lately?

I get panic attacks (usually just before I fall asleep) and they're a little like what you've reported. I get mainly physical symptoms, palpitations, jelly legs and arms, vision fading to white etc. They really suck but I find the best thing is to just ride them out with deep breathing, a bit of mindfulness. If I fight them they get worse.

Folks, I am not a medical practitioner.
The symptoms you have described are classic stress symptoms, I have been that soldier.
Best advice, talk to your GP:)

Panic attacks are something that arrive in your life, can happen anytime, very uncomfortable, sometimes you can relate to what may of triggered it (this can be good as you can eventually control it), most times they will never stop, but you could go for long periods of it not happening and then all of a sudden it is in front of you and very scary,

trying to find the trigger is the ticket, tis not a very nice feeling, I have had them, situations I could deal with no problem, then I would get freaked out, mostly because I could not understand why it was happening, hang in there and hopefully you will be able to associate it to something that might have happened to you lately,

keep safe, and it is controlable.
