Hello, Going in to second year in September and I was wondering where can I find the form for the grant. And what is your parents' earning limit on two college goers (My sister and myself.)? Thanks

You can only apply online. There's some info and a link to the form here: http://www.studentfinance.ie/mp7232/maintenance-grant/index.html

My friend applied for the grant in 2011 and he did it through the county council. He filled out a form with all relevant documents and handed it in to the Swords County Council or whatever it's called.

Is it all done online now?

According to the second link, "From 2012-2013 on, Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI), which has been nominated as the new single grant-awarding authority, is handling all new applications for student grants. All new grant applications will be made online". You can still apply to local authorities but only for renewals - new applications go through SUSI.
