Handy tractor, 4 cyl engine with a 3cyl backend.

Really depends on the tasks you have in mind.

Hi Nash. I'd be using it for light farm work. The 5030 doesn't seem that common but I seen one and liked the look of it and the simplicity. Just wondering was there flaws with them

Had a 2 wheel drive one for a few years. No issues at all with it, simple transmission, ours had no splitter, just 8 forward 8 reverse with a mechanical shuttle. I think some of them have the gears between your legs, presume these ones have no shuttle.

Ours was a good straightforward machine with plenty of poke for its size, rated at 70 hp from what I remember, we ran mowers/power/harrows/baler/grain trailer behind ours at various times, never a bother.

very few of them out there so not sure about parts etc. but I assume handy enough as she is basically just an updated 5610.

A splitter was available but very rare to find. The Synchro Shuttle gearbox was actually a collaboration with Kubota at the time.

The sticks between your legs is the simple 8x2 constant mesh gearbox which served Ford well for well over 30 years.

Parts should not be a problem as bar the cab and the Synchro Shuttle gearbox all else was similar to other Fords - mainly the 4610/4600 etc.

NH 5635 or MF 375 or you maybe lucky to get a MF 4235 at the top of your budget.

Landini Blizzard 85 or 8880 either or indeed a Fiat 80-90 or 82-94.
