    The spec is as below
Intel Atom dual core N2600 processor.
    1.6GHz processor speed.
    1GB DDR3 RAM memory.
    320GB hard drive
    Microsoft Windows 7 Starter.
    10.1"screen

Is this too slow to download? Should I get something better for regualar use?
    Thanks

Depends upon what you mean by "regular use." This netbook is light, small, good for travel, class notes, emails, IMs, surfing the web, boards.ie, writing a novel, and developing basic Power Point presentations. You can watch a DVD, but the screen is a bit small (and may need an external drive, if not internal). Complex games like Skyrim will not run on it.

Windows 7 Starter with an Intel Atom may struggle when running more than 3 apps, and has been known to freeze at times. Battery time should be good. I would double the memory from 1 to 2 GB, and look for one with SSD rather than HDD storage. Some users don't like the smaller keyboard, so you should try it before you buy it.
