Gemini clearomizer: A Glowing Review!

First off I entered 'Gemini clearomizer' in the forum search function and no results appeared, so this isn't something you guys seem familiar with or have talked about though I'm sure they've been around a while.

I bought one from http://www.vaperus.ie/clearomizer/269-gemini-clearomizer.html almost three weeks ago and well, all I can say is WOW!
It's AMAZING (you guys!) - I have not put it down since.
In fact I'm now chain-vaping (good...but not good)

The pics don't show clearly that there are four wicks so for anyone who likes a 'warm' hit this is the one for you. I hadn't experienced a warm vape since I began and I have to say I was delighted with the difference.
I've ~ 12 T3's that need rewicking and I'm like 'nah, Hell can wait' :D
Was just about to give up on clearo's completely.

I'd bought a Protank, a T3s, a mini Nova, a Smoktech something or other and a Vapeonly BCC but have yet to even open them, the Gemini's just THAT good.
You can use your own drip tip and it looks great on an eGo, especially so on 350mah's for a dinky little set-up.

The only not-even-a-drawback is that it takes a little bit of fiddling with the top to get it to work - you have to screw it on really tightly or it might not puff right away.

Apparently there's a mini version out there too that I MUST get my hands on. Anyone who wants my home address can PM me :D

I'd highly recommend you all try one and post back with your experiences.

Have you tried a Kanger T2?

I had one and it was a dud from the outset so I haven't repurchased another.
    Any good?

I love them. I only asked because I wanted a comparison between the two.

I got a Gemini from Vaperus too, and it's my second favourite clearo (faVourite being a Kamry X6) - when it works - it seems to be a bit temperamental and occasionally stops making contact with batteries. It's a nice warm vape - can't compare it to a T2 cos I don't have one, but I prefer it to the T3.

Yeah, and as I say in my OP it can kind of not work right away until you tighten it down but then when you do...magic happens :)

Going into my fourth week now - no dry hits, no burning out, nothing but wonderful!

    Hey

Got one of these. Cannot get it to work no matter how much tighten to battery (tried 3 eGo-C Twist batteries).

    Any ideas?

You could try pulling down the end grommet? (I think it's called) a little bit, which is on the underside of the clearo itself - I did this myself with a sturdy pair of tweezers.

After a few tries of screwing it onto the battery really tight, yeah it can be a bit stubborn to get going, this is what I did to make it 'connect' to the battery's centre pin.

Screwing it down tight (which is what's been needed of mine to get it going) is probably what's caused said battery centre pin to retract slightly - thus making the end grommet non-contactable with battery.
Lots of people have to push up their centre pins to make contact with their clearo's etc. You do this with a tiny flat head screwdriver - got mine in an eye glasses repair kit (or sturdy tweezers :)).

A small teeny little bit of fiddling (sounds like a government PR statement) is all it takes to get it going and sooo worth it when it does.

Mine finally clapped out on me Saturday - almost four long, wonderful weeks of perfect vaping. So I took it all apart to see if it could be rebuilt - not gonna happen anytime soon :( so sad - the parts are tiny.

That said, I just discovered the Gemini is actually a new product - only out since last month, which is why there's so little info out there on it

Heads are cheap though and they're bound to bring out a version 2, possibly rebuildable, in the near future, let's hope

good when working, anyways epic construction fail....in my case wasn't contact with atomiser head so pushed the grommet and rubber seal out of the base and rebuilt it back, its working now but.. for how long?
for now, il stay with iClear16 as my 'main' clearomiser :)

I've not tried thse, but this morning got my first iClear 16 clearos - also from vaperus. So far, so great! Great vape, not a gurgle nor dry burn to speak off. And I literally filled it and started using straight off.

Got a green and a blue one for different flavours :) If they continue to work this good I'll be ordering more and a bunch of replacement heads. So long Kanger ...
