Have anyone flown from DUB to T1 LHR and then used the Flight Connection bus to T5? I am then connecting to a flight from a C gate. I would appreciate anyone else's report on this transfer

What do you want to know? You get on bus after your flight at T1, it'll bring you to the flight connection centre, you'll change to one for T5, and get off there. It's pretty much that simple.

Yes, I did it last month.

The passangers' whose final destination is London get off first, then there is a shuttle bus straight from the plane to the terminal transfer centre. There's a bus to T5.
    (that's with aerlingus anyhow)

Slightly different with BA. Everyone gets off, but there will be an agent on the jetbridge directing transfers downstairs to a bus. Either way, OP, there's nothing too complex or time consuming about it all :)
