Hi, sorry if post in wrong section, but hear i go, has anybody had a radical prosectomy? I have had one seven months plus post op and i am trying find information from people who have been through same just as a means of trying to understand the compare/chat about how this operation has changed people!
While i find there is a lot of material on american websites its hard to find any kind of irish based forum here were people can discuss what they have been through. I am actually back to my consultant tomorrow for my third post op visit and hopeing the news was as good as my last visit when told zero reading on psa tests. Would love to hear from other people as any who has been through this knows there are other issues that arise post op. kind regards tom.

    Hi mildsteel,
I'm a little over 5 years over Radical Prostatectomy. PM me if you have a particular query.

You can also ring the Irish Cancer Society's confidential FREEFONE Helpline 1800-200-700 and ask to speak to an ICS Mentor who has had an RP, and they will have someone contact you in confidence.

Great that your PSA has remained rock bottom!
    MM
