    Sky don't disconnect dishes..They disconnect the cards in the box.

    Has anyone else in the apartment block got problems?

    If they have,it could be a faulty LNB on the dish...If not,,it could be your box.

    See if you can borrow a different box to try in your apartment.

    There's nothing in an lnb that can be 'reset'. Waste of time. Anyway, if it's a big system, your box won't be connected directly to the lnb.

    The 'outside company' could have disconnected your feeds at the distribution point: maybe they were short a connection for someone else . . .

    I didn't know that about the LNB. Thanks for the update.

    I suppose a different box hooked up to his feed will tell a lot.
