Country kitchen wall decor - Not paintings

I am looking for some ideas to put in a central area of our kitchen on the wall.

I have two pieces of Art in the kitchen but I am looking for something different to go over a wall that has a granite build surround.

A mirror is not what I want to go for but would love something different, maybe an actual item mounted up.

I would like to put something that would suit a countrystyle farmhouse.

Would really appreciate your ideas thanks

If you have time to root around in any second hand shops/yards you might come across something that works for your house. A wheel from an old cart, horse shoes, a bracket to hang some copper pots, wrought iron candle holders, oil lamps with pretty shades, a simple book shelf with old bound books and traditional bookends.

What about a brass wall hanging. They come in all different shapes, sizes and styles and can be very eye catching.
