    Maybe..Most likely not since they are not 3G phones it might work on 2G but wouldn't risk it to be honest 3 sims tend to be picky of what non 3G phones they operate in.

    What about getting a cheap 2nd hand phone on Adverts.ie, also O2 have the Samsung Galaxy y for €49, even if it's lock it's very easy to unlock, instructions here

    You need to make sure the phone you get is 3G phone to work on 3

    As above any cheap 3G phone will be fine on 3 ,Any older 2G phones are a big risk of not reading the 3 sim at all :)
