    WWE Friday Night Smackdown
    Air Date: April 19th

-Teddy Long opens this week's episode of Smackdown, and announces that Vince McMahon will appear to evaluate his job, and appoint a perminant general manager. Teddy asks for the crowd's support, but Booker T makes his return and tells everyone that he's back, and ready to resume his duties as GM. Vince McMahon comes down and asks both men what they have to offers. Teddy and Booker set up matches for tonight, but Brad Maddox interrupts all of them and said he already thought that stuff up.

-Maddox announces the return of Rob Van Dam to Smackdown, but Vince apparently doesn't think that's good enough. He appoints Vickie Guerrero as the new full-time GM of Friday Night Smackdown. Vickie comes down and cuts a promo to massive heat.

    (1) Dolph Ziggler def. Jack Swagger

-Big E and AJ Lee had a "moment" backstage where they almost kissed, after AJ freaked out about Ziggler's win.

    (2) Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns vs. The Usos ends in a no contest. Dean Ambrose attacks and the Shield beats down on the Usos until Mark Henry makes the save to a huge babyface pop.

    (3) Daniel Bryan def. Wade Barrett

-Miz TV is up next, and The Miz is getting next to no reaction from Providence. Paul Heyman draws great heat, and tells CM Punk to "stay down" in his fight against Brock Lesnar. Miz exchanges glares with Curtis Axel on his way out.

    (4) Intercontinental CHampionship Match
Curtis Axel (c) def. Chris Jericho

-Ryback came out after the championship match and took out Jericho with a big clothesline and Shellshock

-Damien Sandow came out and said that he didn't screw Cody Rhodes, and he wasn't about to blast him because they are still best friends and couldnt understand the attack on him Monday night. Out comes Cody, and Sandow says that he is forgiven. Sandow says that Cody has earned the right to be the "guardian of the case", but Rhodes attacks him instead. Sandow escapes with the briefcase.

    (5) Rob Van Dam def. Darren Young

-Vickie Guerrero has Teddy Long removed from the building

-Big Show will be making his WWE return this Monday on Raw

    (6) Randy Orton def. Alberto del Rio. Orton won clean with the RKO in a non-title match against the world champion

Was listening to Review-a-Raw and they said the evaluation last week did great ratings, and they predicted another soon. Low and behold...

    Also of note...

At Tuesday night’s SmackDown television taping, Mr. Money in the Bank Randy Orton was injured during his match against World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio.

According to WWE medical personnel, the nine-time World Champion suffered a cervical strain and cervical neuropraxia.

If Mr Money in the bank himself is indeed injured and will face a long time off the shelf what would you book regards his MITB contract?

Personally if he's out for longer than 3 months, I'd give it to someone else, the only problem is who, Bryan doesnt need it, who else can make the next step up tho?

    On twitter

Hey, remember when I said don't listen to the net? I'm fine. Del Rio's kicks are hard as hell, and I caught one to the neck, part of the job

Orton's statements on Twitter are weird. They are from your typical DON'T BELIEVE THE DIRTSHEETS mentality while still not saying anything either way on the WWE.com story.

Absolutely not. It'd be the perfect comeback toy. Cena wins a gruelling match at Hell In A Cell or whatever and then hearing Orton's music playing as he cashes in.

Your way would be awful booking.

Orton being injured could be perfect (sounds bad i know but i mean...) from a storyline point of view though. Your supposed to cash in MITB when it's least expected and Orton actually said as much to Cena on Raw. When would it be less expected than when the MITB contract holder hasnt been seen in ages because he is off injured.

I like to see some sort of RVD and Heyman interaction segment

That sounds like a pretty good smackdown, the only thing I dont get is Darren Young versus RVD, seems like a waste, they should have at least made it a tag team match (squash) with a surprise partner for RVD

One of my favourite people on the internet Justin Shapyro thinks Mark Henry and the Usos should team together as Team That's What I Dusos.
