    Hi All,
I'm trying to track down a seasoning I had in Sweden.
It was a branded good, I think Swartz, but I can't find it on their website so I may be wrong.
It was a mix of herbs, (similar to their "mixed herbs") that we used to shake over potatoes. I think it was similar "forest herbs", but again, I can't find that either. Tasted bloody great.

    Any ideas?

Herbes De Provence? You'll find them in Tesco, or probably any other supermarket.

Sadly I don't think it was them either.
The title was definitely in English.

    Thanks though.

I've never come across it myself despite having spent a bit of time in Sweden, but the Swedes like dill a lot on their "potatis", so maybe that was a main ingredient?

There's a Nordic languages forum here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=265 where you might find a few natives who'll know what you're talking about.

Shake over cooked or raw potatoes?

Cooked. Used to have it on new potatoes.

I think it might have been a mill - in fact I'm sure it was.

Next question, who sells this online?

Amazon and ebay are doing nothing for me. Neither are Google and the NSA.

There are a number of websites that sell Swedish food online. I'm not sure whether they sell this though. There's a contact email address on the Santa Maria website for customer queries konsumentkontakt@santamaria.se, maybe give them a shout?

Way ahead of you on that count. Emailed them as soon as you gave me the product. I'll post back if they respond.

I'm pretty sure Superquinn (Blackrock) do dried mushrooms, so probably most supermarkets do. All the rest of the ingredients easy to source.

Indeed, it wouldn't be too difficult to make something like this yourself.
