Bibshorts, worth replacing a worn chamois?

I've two santini bib shorts that I really like but the chamois are worn. Otherwise they're perfect. They were €100 plus each when bought, with the fancy ass "carbon" material etc etc. they fit me perfectly and still look well.....ok on my fat ass.

Is there anywhere that can sew in a new chamois? Is it something that is done?

    Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Worth seeing if Santini do any product support. I ripped some Assos shorts in a crash and they repaired them free of charge. I just paid postage to Switzerland, they paid postage back.

It's a little thing for them to do but gains great loyalty and happy customer to tell others about it (like now).

santini make there own inserts (or at least brand them up as there own ) doubt you would be able to buy them. whether it would be worth it is another matter, should be doable if they are stiched and not bonded in.

At the risk of hijacking the thread - does anyone know anyone who can do a repair on bib shorts?

I've worn a hole in a nice pair of Castellis just out side the edge of the pad so it needs to be a very neat repair.

Normally I get my mother to do my sewing, but I think this may need something a bit more specialised.

Our club kit is Santini, and its probably worth seeing of you can get a repair. Our kit came via Irish distributors DMC Sports - run by David McQuaid.
    (yes, BTW).
