Hi guys. 00 Mitsi FTO in need of an airbag light reset. Brother in law took off steering wheel to check something and when the wheel went back on, the airbag light came on and stayed on. Car has NCT rebooked next week, so need this sorted to pass. Anyone know how to reset it? Dealers want over €50

Is it worth disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting to see if it resets itself?

Is there not a way to reset these by introducing a small wire between the earth pin and another pin on the OBD port?
I can't remember which one but would be worth a search online.

Edit, may also be confusing myself with another car....

Taken from an evo forum, don't get you're hopes up that it will work but it's worth a shot for only a few quid.

Got it sorted. No info online, other than info to stop the light from working (an nct and mot fail).
