Changing my first name by deed poll

    Im hoping to change my first name by deed poll this summer before beginning college in September but I'm having a wee bit of trouble with it.

    For starters I live about 3 hours from Dublin city so it's a fair bit of trouble to go up. I'm wondering if its possible to get the whole thing done in one day as oppose to returning a few days later?

    I know the deed poll needs to be written on deed paper but im confused as to weather it is typed and printed out or hand written? If it is typed are there computers and printers available for use in the four courts?

    Also I'm not 100 percent sure of what I need to bring for the process to run smoothly, for example passport or other documentation.

    So my questions are;
    1. Is it possible to do the whole name change process in one day?
    2. Does the deed poll need to be typed or hand written?
    3. Are computers/ tables available in the four courts for doing up the deed poll?
    4. What exactly do I need to have with me on the day?

    Thanks a million :)
    I'm awful sorry if this is in the wrong place, I wasn't sure where it should go
