There's a bit of truth in this post, despite the overall content being absolute rubbish.

    We do.

    They are/were.

    79th time, actually.

Yes. That is how semi-finals usually work.

Cork had 15 men for most of the first-half, then received a rather harsh red card.

Not quite. There was no fighting, it was celebrating.

    Not sure about that.
    thestrap wrote: »

    Small bit of an exaggeration.

Don't let it annoy you. If you don't like it, stick with whatever sport you do like.

Once Roscommon joins Munster we'll show these lads what real hurling is about.

This is only the second most ridiculous post in this thread.

I thought it was a great game. Sure, the harsh sending off took away from it a little but I suspect Limerick would still have ended up as winners. Crowd on the pitch after the final whistle really gave a sense of occasion, something that's been sadly missing for awhile. Would be interesting to know where the op is from. :)

The Munster Final is something sacred and i hope it is always maintained, hopefully Kerry will opt back in when they are ready.

Last Sundays game wasnt great though in all honesty. Some really poor wides and i felt it never really got going as say the Lim-Tipp semi. The pitch invasion and reaction afterwards was special though. I would advise everyone to go to a Munster Final before they die. I am a Clareman btw.

You have 20 teams in the Premier League and yet more often then not Utd win it. Chelsea and Man City have had to be taken over by billionaires with far more money then sense (defies logic that an investment group that has managed to make 550 billion would see soccer as a good investment opportunity) to even challenge.

5 teams in Munster, ok so Tipp and Cork are far more successful than the rest but every team has won it since 1998. And it's likely to be quite competitive from here on out. Contrast that with Munster football, or Leinster Football, or Leinster Hurling for a long time or Ulster hurling...you really picked the wrong competition.

All I have to add to this thread is that it's a pretty poor result for 363 days of planning. :pac:
