    Thinking of respraying my Golf, has anybody an idea how much this would roughly set me back

    It depends on the job you want done. People come on here and say they can get a car painted for 1000 euro, I myself wouldn't like to see the job done for that money bearing in mind materials alone for a good job would run around 8-900.

    2k+ should be getting you into a decent job, 3k a very good one but it all depends on the painter.

    Hey I resprayed my car (see thread below)... Can't link to an individual post as I don't know how but the finished result can be seen at the bottom of the first page.
