    Hi.
    Need a bit help here.
My mini cooper 2011 1.6L has ABS light on for a while, can anyone tell the reasons for it? I just did the service few months ago(free) with BMW in finglas.

Someone also told me as my car only 2 years old, all BMW have 3 years standard warranty, I should get it fixed for free anyway. it that true? Just want get some backup here before I call them.

    Thanks

a problem like that should most likely be covered by warranty.

Depends if they class what ever part is giving the problem as ' a serviceable item'.

You should definitely get it checked right away.

Could well be a faulty ABS sensor on the wheel as that is a very common problem on BMWs and MINIs. Regarding warranty, if you give a MINI dealer a ring and give them your registration then should be able to tell you if your car is still under the manufacturers warranty. Based on that info you can then book it in with the dealer to diagnose and fix the problem if it is a warranty claim.
