How to insulate?

    Hi all,
We recently had our cavity walls (detached house with attic conversion) pumped with insulation (beads). Unfortunately we discovered mid-process that the builder had built the roof gables from above the ground floor with cavity blocks, and that there was insufficient cavity width to pump the front downstairs where the house has a stone finish.
This has meant that our front gable (cavity block upstairs and stone front downstairs) has not been insulated at all but the rest of the house downstairs has.
What would people suggest as the best insulation to use in these cases, bearing in mind that I really dislike the stone finish as I think it ages the house quite a bit (mid 70s build). We would consider external insulation for this gable but are worried that the price would be prohibitive. We originally were quoted over €20k for the full house to be externally insulated. Is there an average price per sq m?
We need to do something in these rooms as these external uninsulated walls are developing condensation during the colder months despite vents being added to the rooms at the time we pumped the other walls.

    Any advice much appreciated.
    Thanks
    CMA
