Hair Chalk

Had anyone had any experience with hair chalk? There's a deal for 12 for €13 or 24 for €17 on living social atm and I'm trying to decide whether they're worth it? I have thick black (natural) hair and I'd like to put some colour into it without it being permanent. Would hair chalk work for me?

The hair chalk makes your hair quite dry
