Surprised myself yet again at my poor knowledge of the rules this year !!! I think I'm getting worse.

    61% - 7 incorrect.

Be brave - post your scores and no peeking at the Rule Book.

Good quiz, nearly as bad 72% (13/18)

It's a good quiz alright. It lures you into a false sense of security that you have almost aced the test - then it kicks you in the nuts when your score is revealed.

    Gutted :(

50%. I'll just stick to the old adage, play it as it lies from now on,....

56% also! Jaysus, need to brush up.

The picture for question 16 is very good.

    83% (15/18)

    happy!
1 is kinda a trick question, I knew the ball was in play after touching it (or even after a fresh air), but didnt cop about just playing 3 off the tee.

Got the grass adhering to the ball wrong, good to know and also re-losing your ball after initially finding it doesnt restart the timer.

I need to find a bunker and jump into it.... bad front 9, bad back 9,
    50%....
Got a bit disinterested during it, I just gave everyone a 2 shot penalty...it mightn't be the rules, but they deserved it.

    One I liked
was the second ball being deemed void provided your first is "lost" in the hole:D

Ya, the amount of incorrect penalties I've accumulated due to not knowing that has really cost me :D

56%, shocking. A lot of the situations rarely happen which is probably why I forget some of the rules!

    Embarrasingly low

Someone keep an eye on me for the next boards outing. I havent a clue! :D

And one I hit the wrong answer by mistake even though I knew the correct answer. Good quiz!

Got 11/18.. Need some brushing up.
Was playing the other week and one of my playing partners found and hit his ball a good bit away from where he had left his trolley and asked my other playing partner to bring up his trolley to where he was but he said that he thought there was a rule that said he couldn't do that, is that true or was he just being a lazy sausage?

Not true - you can get someone to move your trolley in this manner. Don't know the specific rule, but I read it somewhere reliable - probably Barry Rhodes.

    15/18

Some practical and straight forward ones (always good to highlight those and provoke thought and discussion), also I laughed out loud at the picture of Kevin in the bunker.

    10/18. Poor

    The quiz isn't fair.

For example the question about him using a club for alignment purposes. If it was explained (I didn't see it) that he lifted it in advance of his stroke, it's a different question.

"Before playing his approach shot, Kevin places a club on the ground parallel to the line of play in order to assist him with his alignment. He removes the club before he plays."

    78% (14/18).

A bit like my golf lately. I won 10 out of the 1st 11 holes and then it all went to pot on the back 9! Three scratches on the tough stretch of 12, 13 & 14 but then rallied late on winning the last 4 holes.

Close, but GreeBo still holds onto the crown :pac:

    A very good quiz. I was surprised I did as well as I did - 67% (12/18).

Hopefully all my shots will be straight and true tomorrow, and I'll have no need of a ruling of any sort!!!

    13/18 :(

Got caught out by the 'holding the flagstick' one. I thought you couldn't let it rest on the ground (see pic) as that was deemed steadying yourself with the flagstick.

15/18 but to be honest, i guessed at a couple of them. if i did it again next week, i'd probably get a different score!

Dug the below up on the interwebs. If caddies are not allowed in the comp. and another player pulls your trolly are you in breach?

Here's what the Decisions on the Rules says:

6-4/2.5 Status of Individual Who Transports Player's Clubs on Motorized Golf Cart or Trolley
    Q. During a round, a player's clubs are transported on a motorized golf cart or trolley by a friend who performs no other functions of a caddie. Is the friend considered to be the player's caddie?
    A. Yes. By driving the cart or pulling the trolley, the friend is deemed to be carrying the player's clubs — see Definition of "Caddie."

However, the committee can make a Condition of Competition as follows:

    Caddie (Note to Rule 6-4)
Rule 6-4 permits a player to use a caddie, provided he has only one caddie at any one time. However, there may be circumstances where a Committee may wish to prohibit caddies or restrict a player in his choice of caddie, e.g., professional golfer, sibling, parent, another player in the competition, etc. In such cases, the following wording is recommended:
    Use of Caddie Prohibited
"A player is prohibited from using a caddie during the stipulated round."
Restriction on Who May Serve as Caddie
"A player is prohibited from having ___________ serve as his caddie during the stipulated round.

I don't think someone moving your clubs for you can be construed as a caddy?
