Careful when traveling to Galway

    Just be highly aware that there is a gang of thugs in the Salthill area targeting young people causing lots of injuries and stealing their property. This has come to light over the last couple of days in the media and on connacht tribune online- would post a link but an unable to do so on boards. got banned in the galway forum for not posting link - but would rather people would know what is going on and to be very very aware of their surrounding in Salthill when they come for holiday or to swim (heatwave coming up this weekend). So its not just in portmarnock it's happening. Shocking

    I an blocked from posting links. just the way it is. I posted a newsworthy item - not a spam. would rather people traveling to galway were aware of the dangers - worth the ban.

    just be careful in salthill

    one lad getting his teeth knocked and youths throwing bottles on some beach i've never heard off isnt exactly news worthy.
