Help me identify an instrument

Hey lads, saw a lad playing an unusual instrument at body and soul a few weeks back. The body of it is round almost spherical and it has a long neck with strings laid out like a harp. Any ideas?

The body was like the first one but I can't see the strings and how they are set out. On the one I saw the strings filled the angle between the neck and body. The one closest the angle was shortest and the longest string furthest out like a harp
