Size 6 clothing

What shops in Ireland sell UK size 6?

I know Dorothy Perkins and Penneys do, and technically Gap, but their size 6 is really more like a 10.

Preferably in Cork.

It's very possible that the gap clothing is an american 6 - which would be a 10?

No, they specifically said, UK size 6 - US size 10.

I did manage to get something in Gap Kids though.

Are you sure it wasn't US size 6 - UK size 10, because all my GAP clothes specifically say this!

A UK 6 would be a size 2.

Yeah, a UK 6 is a US 2, not a US 10. Could you have read it the wrong way around?

I've noticed some of GAP trouser styles, in particular their Khaki range, is very generous - I'm an 8 and I went down 2 sizes on one pair, and I haven't shrunk that much :eek:

Their regular jeans styles (eg real straight, bootcut) seem the same.

Penneys dresses fit me. Penneys trousers in a 6 are not a good fit, apart from the "super skinny" jeans which are too tight on the leg :-/

Boohoo.com 6s are good but the skirts are long I find. New Look do a size 6 and a 6 petite on their website. Asos 6 petites are an incredible fit too. I just under 5 foot tall to gauge petite range

I don't think Miss selfridge are true size 6's, I got a few tops lately from there that were size 6 and they were too big on me. I don't know about their trousers or skirts though.
