Hi there,

I've just been granted funding from the Dept of Social Protection to do a distance learning course. I am currently in receipt of Job Seekers allowance (€124.80 as I am co-habiting).

Will I remain on the same payment type or will I be put on a Back to Education Allowance? Technically I can still seek work and do my course in my own time but I'd prefer to get the head down and spend my full time on it so I can qualify faster.
