Yep, travelling by Ryanair :-). Could anyone tell the me quickest means of travel from Eindhoven to Amsterdam? Is there a shuttle/train etc?

Also, my flight is at 6.30 from Dublin and I dont arrive until 9.10, that's 2 hours longer than the trip back :-/ !!! Any idea why?

    Thanks

There's a 1 hour difference between Dublin and Eindhoven, your departure and arrival times are always local time.

Journey time is 1hr 46 minutes from Eindhoven Airport to Amsterdam Centraal.

Take the 401 bus directly outside the Airport to the Center.

Get on the Alkmaar Train, get off in Amsterdam, you don't need to change as its direct.

There's ticket machines in the station that take Maestro card, very simple just his the English Language button.

Journey will cost you around 20 euros each way.

    Hi guitarzero,

How'd you get on? I'm going to Amsterdam this way on the 28th. keithclancy's post is great, was it as simple as keithclancy said?

    Thanks

    In a word, yes.

Always struck me as a bit of hassle for a relatively small saving tbh, particularly so on the outbound leg - where you'll often pick up EI to AMS for €45 or thereabouts (with onward travel to Centraal Station for less than €5).

Thanks very much. Yeah, this is my 4th visit to Amsterdam, but first via Eindhoven, flights were only €41 return at opposed to €150+ (return) direct to Amsterdam.

    Thanks again.
