Can you ring the main number for the department you need?
Isn't there a Dublin city centre number? Ring them and ask them to assist you.

I would think after a week of trying every day non stop at least once or twice an hour this should be sufficient enough , i mean its not a radio competition........ they should have someone on a switch directing calls to different departments should they not , .

This number is never answered. It's always the same. I've called approx. 50 times in the past few months for different reasons and have yet to have the number answered. Write them and email or letter, but beware, they don't follow through with these all the time either. If it's important, your best bet is to visit.

I have never failed to be answered by a government branch when you do as advised above. But don't ask for the number, ask to be put through.

When they see HQ calling, they answer.

    Hi,

I don't have an email address but you can contact them via their online form at www.welfare.ie. Go to local offices and you'll see a link on the left side of page for contact form :)
